Charles joined the firm in 2013, bringing over 20 years of experience in taxation and wealth management, specializing in US and international taxation, wealth preservation, retirement income planning and portfolio management. His tax background and financial planning expertise are ideally placed to help clients achieve their financial goals.

Charles passed the certification examination for CPA’s called the Personal Finance Specialist (PFS) certification and is a member of The North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (license no. 36029). He also holds a UK Financial Planning Certificate and is a member of the UK Association of Tax Technicians. Charles obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree with Honors in Accounting Science in 1992 in South Africa and is a South African Chartered Accountant.

Charles has lived in Wilmington since 2004 and is a US Citizen. He was born in South Africa and lived in the UK for 5 years before moving to Wilmington. He serves on the finance committee of Cape Fear Country Club and as treasurer for Wilmington South Rotary Branch. He is also an avid marathon runner, having completed over 50 marathons including the Boston.
